What file formats does PlotLens support?
PlotLens supports .docx, .txt, .rtf, .md (Markdown), and .pdf files. We're working on adding support for Scrivener projects and Final Draft files.
How accurate is the entity extraction?
Our AI typically achieves 90-95% accuracy on character and location extraction. You can always review and edit extracted entities to ensure your canon is perfect.
Can I use PlotLens offline?
PlotLens requires an internet connection because entity extraction and validation are performed by our AI servers. However, your documents are securely stored and accessible whenever you're online.
Is my writing safe? Do you use it to train AI?
Your content is never used to train AI models. We process your manuscripts solely to provide the PlotLens service, and AI providers are contractually prohibited from retaining your content.
What happens when my trial ends?
After 21 days, your account converts to our Free plan. You'll keep access to your projects but with limited validations. You can upgrade anytime to restore full access.
Can I export my data?
Yes! You can export your entire canon, including all entities, relationships, and validation history, in JSON or CSV format anytime.
