More reliable revisions and timelines
Document replacements recover after interruptions, while timeline updates preserve your edits, keep supported events, and reject invalid ordering rules.
Changes
Fixed
- Interrupted document replacements recover using the revision you submitted, rather than the previous document.
- Accepted TXT-to-DOCX and DOCX-to-TXT replacements are read in their new format.
- A verified replacement can be processed even when the previous document failed.
- Long-running document processing stays protected against duplicate or superseded work, and delayed uploads respect available processing capacity.
- If relationship or timeline results cannot be saved, the document no longer appears to finish successfully with nothing found.
- Timelines keep document-supported events after a merge and stop automatically restoring deleted events.
- Timeline updates reject conflicting chronology before applying it, require source support for calendar dates, and keep the last good chronology when an update cannot complete.
- Storylines stay distinct when a story splits, and your renamed or reorganized storylines remain under your control.
- Events sharing a position in the text are no longer automatically treated as simultaneous.
- Viewers cannot create or delete timeline ordering rules; invalid event references, self-references, and inconsistent time gaps are refused.
- Storylines cannot be nested under themselves, their descendants, or a storyline in another project.
